Pwrup wins the International Holstein Show

MADISON, WIS. – The winning Five-Year-Old cow, Eixdale Pwrup Alongside, took home Senior and Grand Champion titles at the 2026 International Holstein Show at World Dairy Expo® on Friday. For this honor, Pwrup and owners, Milk Source Genetics of Kaukauna, Wis., received the James Crowley, Sr., Senior Champion Award and the Allen Hetts Grand Champion Trophy. The Intermediate Champion and Reserve Grand Champion was the winning Senior Three-Year-Old, MD-Locustcrest P Zuriniah owned by Chip, Chase, Connor Savage and Tom Mercuro of Union Bridge, Md. Zuriniah was awarded the Eugene Nelson Intermediate Champion Award.

The Reserve Senior Champion, Altona Lea Unix Herminie, was the winning Six-Year-Old and Older Cow and is owned by Dalton J Faris of Beaverton, Ontario. Walk-Era Eye Candy Rebel, owned by Budjon Farms, GenoSource, Farnear, Peter Vail, Regan Demmer and Heartland Dairy of Lomira, Wis., was the winning Summer Junior Two-Year-Old and Reserve Intermediate Champion. The Champion Bred & Owned of the Show was Pierstein Dempsey Lexi, owned by Pierre Boulet and Butlerview Farm of Montmagny, Quebec.

Junior Champion of the 2026 International Holstein Show was awarded to the first-place Winter Yearling, Butlerview Glitter Girl-ET, owned by Clarkvalley, K Doeberiener, P Conroy and Butlerview of Beaverton, Ontario. Glitter Girl was awarded the Norman E. Magnussen Memorial Junior Champion Award and was also named Junior Champion Bred & Owned. Monoak Master Precious, owned by Mike Deaver of Marshall, Wis., rose to the top of the Winter Calf class before being named Reserve Junior Champion.

The Premier Breeder went to GenoSource of Blairstown, Iowa, and the Premier Exhibitor was Butlerview Farm of Chebanse, Ill. The Premier Sire went to Farnear Delta-Lambda-ET.

The Premier Breeder of the Heifer Show also went to GenoSource of Blairstown, Iowa, and the Premier Exhibitor of the Heifer Show was the Osinga Family of Watertown, Wis. The Premier Sire of the Heifer Show was Robella Major.

Official judge Ryan Krohlow of Poynette, Wis., and associate judge Kelly Barbee of Concord, N.C., evaluated 436 entries in the International Holstein Show.
